JUNE/JULY 2002

"The band's music centers on richly melodic original songs that come over like a cross between Bob Dylan and Robert Hunter with a free flowing country-rock feel. There are several standouts on the latest album, Let The World Go Free, namely the moody "Pray What You Need," which has flickering leads from [Steve] Kimock and the beautiful but topical title cut. Highly recommended."

Joseph's music has a unique depth, resonance and comes from the heart...an original voice combining issues of social justice, respect for the earth and matters of the heart and soul. Let the World Go Free was my pick for the Best CD of 2001"

Phoenix New Times:

"A band that has the lyric department all sewn up is Each Others' Legend."

"There are several examples of great songwriting herein, [1st CD] the best of them being 'Holding Out Our
Hands'."

"The crack rhythm section, especially Wild Billy Kneebone's brilliant slide-guitar work, keeps the momentum going."

"I thoroughly enjoy the lyrics Joseph Langham croons in Each Others' Legend... Look for a brand new CD by Each Others' Legend (Let The World Go Free), buy their album, then go see them live."

"Their music has been described as esoteric, with strong lyrical content and personal context. Langham says for him, 'The songs breathe-there is a lot of ether in them'. Kneebone simply says, 'They live' ".

Kneebone concluded the interview well. "Enjoy it (the music) like a ride. Get on the ride, take a nice little trip, and then get off at the end and say, 'wow, that was fun!"

CD Baby customer John Fiorentino:

Today was my first chance to listen to the 2nd and 3rd Each Others' Legend CD, which I recently purchased through CD Baby. I can't tell you how much enjoyment I got out of listening to these two CDs! Every song on each CD is a winner. You're quite a talented writer and it's a terrific group of musicians. I'm 48 years old, with an overwhelming love of music that was shaped by the great songwriting of the 60s and 70s. Your CDs stand up there with anything I've heard, and really hearkens back to the spirit of that era. It only took one listen to realize just how good Each Others' Legend is. I hear traces of Mike Scott (Waterboys), Van Morrison, Grateful Dead and some others I can't put my finger on, yet none of it sounds derivative. In fact, so much of your music gives me hope that real music can make a comeback. Whether it will ever be recognized by the music industry or the record buying public like it was a few decades ago remains to be seen, but you have contributed some important art to the world of music. The groove of the music and the engaging singing would be enough, but the lyrics reward the person who listens closely.
