A Band Is Born
In 1993 Each Others' Legend came together at Blue Sky Studios in Tempe, Arizona to record six songs by Nashville-born songwriter Joseph Langham. Wild Billy Kneebone was brought to the sessions by herbalist and medicine woman Phyllis Hogan who intuitively put the two musicians together.

Within days their self-titled debut album was in the works while their first music video was being produced in collaboration with videographer Hardie Karges. Shot on the Mogollon Rim and in the red desert of Sedona, Arizona, "Inside These Bodies" is now an underground classic.

A couple of years playing concerts and clubs, building a substantial and enthusiastic following led them to the West Coast and into various radio markets. Producer T Bone Burnett called the band but funds could not yet be secured for the extent of the project's completion. They began writing more songs about faith and keeping the good dreams alive and singing and playing them more passionately than ever.

In 1996, EOL's second album, "Genius And The Bright Sins Of Destiny" was released with an enlarged family of musical guests. Reknown Native-American flutist R. Carlos Nakai brought his beautiful sound to the song All The Rivers, an environmental manifesto of sorts. "Genius" in the title was no coincidence. Hans Olson, international harmonica stylist played on tracks that went absolutely stellar. Joe Myers, Walt Richardson, Jeff Dayton, and Phyllis Hogan also added their colors to the pallet on the album. "Nothing short of brilliant", one critic said.

Now the legacy was gaining this curious quality as Dylan's 'people' began giving Bob the albums to listen to and hanging out with the band at their home in Northern Arizona. It was a very exciting time!

"We always felt we were a mere moment away from Everything Happening. It still feels that way", says Langham.

Kneebone and Langham have kept a social sense about them as one of Arizona's most relentless benefit-playing duos EVER. They have performed at fundraising events for
Sierra Club,
Flagstaff Activist Network,
Folks in distress due to catastrophies,
Sustainable living and holistic causes,
Arizona Ethno-botanical Research Association,
Black Mesa Water Coalition,
Southwest Hempfest,
Food Not Bombs,

and many others.

The songs of Each Others' Legend are often performed by Langham, Kneebone and Phyllis Hogan, a dynamic trio. Acoustic-Psychedelic-Rock is an accurate description though many other influences are present also.

Acoustic album sessions were recorded in 1999 with eclectic guitar songster Joe Myers in Tempe, Arizona. Joe invited the duo to his Indian Den Studio for one of these acoustic sessions and the tracks, though unreleased to date, were haunting and musically intense. Myers encouraged them to release it but just as this happened an offer was accepted with Pete Sears (Hot Tuna, Jefferson Starship), to produce a new album with the full band and once again the acoustic sessions were put on hold. Now, with many acoustic and Live recordings on file, the group will have an exquisite selection of performances to choose from for this much awaited project.

January 27, 2002 brought "Let The World Go Free", EOL's third album. Produced by EOL and Pete Sears, this latest CD is musically embellished by Pete, Steve Kimock, Shana Morrison, Bob Blasi, and Su Bog, among others. The songs on this record hit the Americana/Singer/Songwriter genre head-on, and has received abundant airplay on Northern Arizona radio, most notably KFLX and KVNA. Relix Magazine advises, "Highly recommended." KBOO Radio in Portland, Oregon picked this release their Best Of 2001, ironically before the official release date in 2002! Robyn Shanti, host of 'The Dharma Wheel' on KBOO chose the title track as her show's theme song shortly after the September 11 destruction of the World Trade Center towers in New York. Pacific Northwest shows began as KBOO began broadcasting the EOL songs week after week. See our SHOWS Page for information on upcoming events in Arizona, Oregon, Washington, and Northern California.

Album four, "Purple For The People" is now in production and "The Acoustic Album" is now within sight. Details and updates will be available soon.
